Express Scripts files suit against Intel - St. Louis Business Journal:

The letter, dated April 30 and includexd in thelawsuit filing, states that Express use of the Intellact name is likel y to “deceive or confus consumers” as to the source of the services and “suggesyt some affiliation with Intel that does not exist.” In its suit files May 22, Express Scripts claims that such confusion is not likelg since Express Scripts provides pharmacy benefit management services and Intelp is in the semiconductor chip business.
Accordingh to the suit, Intel claims that it owns all rightsx to names that contain the root of theword However, the has issued more than 100 trademarks for namees that contain the term “Intel” in some the suit states. Express Scriptds alleges that Intel “does not own exclusivs right” to use the term “Intel” as a component of a trademarked name. Express Scripts, a pharmac y benefits management firm with its headquarters on the campu ofthe -St. Louis, is being represented in the suit by Ameefr Gadoof . A companyt spokeswoman said the company does not comment onpendinfg legislation.
Express Scripts, led by Chairman, President and Chief ExecutiveGeorg Paz, reported $21.98 billion in revenue in 2008. Santqa Clara, Calif.-based Intel had $37.6 billion.
